Dr. Ali Harounabadi is a faculty member in the Department of Computer Engineering and Information Technology at Islamic Azad University, Central Tehran Branch. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the Science and Research Branch of Tehran in 2008. His expertise covers various fields of artificial intelligence, including machine learning and deep learning, along with recommender systems and social network analysis. He has held several leadership positions, including Head of the Computer Engineering Department, Chair of the Specialized Committee for Curriculum Planning in Computer Engineering, Manager of the specialized committees for curriculum and educational planning in the School of Engineering, and Dean of the Academic Consortium for Artificial Intelligence and Social and Advanced Technologies. He has also led numerous research and industrial projects and has published extensively in high-impact ISI and JCR-indexed journals.
Dr. Shervan Fekri Ershad is an acclaimed AI scientist and faculty member at Najafabadbranch, Islamic Azad University of Iran, specializing in computer vision and medical image analysis. Selected among the top 2% of world scientists (Stanford & Elsevier, 2022–2024), he holds a Ph.D. from Shiraz University, Iran (2016) and has published more than 30 papers in international journals and dozens of conference articles. His pioneering research focuses on cancer diagnosis using AI, digital imaging, and image retrieval, while also serving as a reviewer and board member for more than 20 international journals/conferences. Driven by innovation, he bridges AI with healthcare to solve critical challenges.
