چکیده :
Background: Human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination is one of the most important strategies for preventing HPV infection and its related consequences. Identifying factors associated with vaccine uptake may help improve prevention programs.(1,2) Method: This cross-sectional study was conducted among 298 HPV-positive women referred to laboratories in Isfahan, Iran, during 2025-2026. Participants were selected using consecutive sampling. Demographic characteristics and HPV vaccination status were collected. The association between educational level and HPV vaccination uptake was assessed using the chi-square test. The linear trend in vaccination uptake across educational levels was also evaluated using the Linear-by-Linear Association test.(3-5) Finding: HPV vaccination uptake was 11.3%, 18.7%, and 30.2% among women with an associate degree or lower, a bachelor’s degree, and a master’s degree or higher, respectively. A significant association was observed between educational level and HPV vaccination uptake (χ²=8.916, P=0.012). A significant linear trend toward higher vaccination uptake with increasing educational level was also observed (P=0.003). Conclusion: Conclusion: Among HPV-positive women in this study, educational level was significantly associated with HPV vaccination uptake, with higher vaccination rates observed among women with higher educational attainment. This finding highlights the importance of considering educational differences in HPV vaccination awareness and promotion programs.(1,2,4)Targeted educational interventions, particularly for women with lower educational attainment, may help improve awareness and acceptance of HPV vaccination.
