Effectiveness of psychodrama on academic enthusiasm and perfectionism of adolescents with obsessive-compulsive disorder

چکیده :

Aims: The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effectiveness of psychodrama on academic enthusiasm and perfectionism of adolescents with obsessive-compulsive disorder in Isfahan. Methods: Therefore, the present study method was semi-experimental; pre-test-post-test and follow-up with experimental and control groups. The statistical population of the study included all adolescents with obsessive-compulsive disorder referring to psychological treatment centers in Isfahan in 2024-2025, from which 30 individuals were selected using convenience sampling. To collect research data, Questionnaires on Perfectionism and Academic enthusiasm were used. Findings: The results of repeated-measures analysis of variance show that the psychodrama approach can improve academic enthusiasm and perfectionism in adolescents with obsessive-compulsive disorder(P<0.05). Discussion: The findings indicated that psychodrama, as an experiential and group-based therapeutic approach, not only reduced maladaptive aspects of perfectionism but also increased students’ motivation and engagement in academic activities. Conclusion: These results highlight the potential of psychodrama as a complementary therapeutic intervention in promoting psychological and educational well-being among adolescents with obsessive-compulsive disorder.
