A multi-objective mathematical model to optimize the consumption of electric power in the N.I.O.P.D.C

چکیده :
The increasing demand for energy and the limitations of resources have made optimal energy consumption management one of the main priorities for industries. Oil industries, especially the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company in Isfahan, face high electricity consumption and associated costs and therefore require solutions to reduce costs and energy losses. This study aims to propose a multi-objective mathematical model for optimizing electrical power consumption. The proposed model includes two objective functions: first, minimizing the total cost of electricity consumption and reactive power, and second, reducing energy losses resulting from production and distribution processes. The data for this research were collected from the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company in Isfahan, which includes information on energy consumption across various sectors (such as administrative buildings, cooking facilities, restaurants, boiler rooms, and industrial equipment). The model was analyzed using GAMS software and the epsilon-constraint method for post-processing. The results showed that implementing the model could reduce the total energy consumption cost by approximately 20%. Furthermore, electrical energy losses decreased from 15% to around 10% with the application of the proposed model. Sensitivity analysis of key parameters (such as reactive power consumption rate and electricity cost) indicates that the model exhibits stable performance under environmental and industrial changes. This research not only provides a practical solution for optimizing energy consumption in the oil industry but also takes an important step toward reducing costs and increasing energy efficiency across various industrial sectors in the country.
