چکیده :
Background and Aim: Heart failure (HF), affecting over 60 million people worldwide, is among the most costly chronic diseases, with a 30-day readmission rate reaching approximately 25% [1]. The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) with wearable device data offers a novel approach for continuous monitoring and the prediction of decompensation [2]. This scoping review aimed to examine the applications of AI based on wearable device data in the remote monitoring of HF patients and to identify the associated nursing implications. Methods: This study was designed as a scoping review based on the Arksey and O'Malley framework [3] and the PRISMA-ScR guidelines [4]. A systematic search was conducted in the PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, CINAHL, and IEEE Xplore databases from January 2018 to May 2025. Following a two-stage independent screening by two reviewers, 48 eligible studies were selected. Results: The findings were organized into four main domains: (1) types of wearable devices and monitored parameters; (2) AI algorithms, including LSTM, Random Forest, CNN, and Transformer-based models; (3) clinical effectiveness, with evidence of significant reductions in readmissions and mortality across multiple studies [5,6]; and (4) nursing implications, including AI alert interpretation, patient education, adherence management, and interdisciplinary team coordination. Conclusion: AI-based wearable monitoring holds considerable potential for advancing remote care for HF patients; however, robust clinical evidence from large-scale randomized controlled trials remains limited. The nursing role within this new paradigm must be redefined and further specialized.
