چکیده :
Technological developments in recent decades, especially advancements in artificial intelligence, have transformed the role of schools in student education. Future schools, as environments embracing this digital transformation, will face numerous advancements and challenges. This study aims to investigate the ethical challenges arising from the application of artificial intelligence in future schools. The research method is a review with an analytical approach, aiming to present various perspectives on artificial intelligence in schools and to reach a suitable synthesis of these views. Findings indicate that the integration of AI into schools can enable accurate evaluation of academic performance, facilitate administrative tasks, offer personalized learning, optimize the teaching process, expand access to educational resources, and reduce educational costs. Despite these advantages, the use of AI in schools poses significant ethical challenges, including: violation of students’ privacy, reduced human interaction, discrimination and educational inequality, over-reliance on technology, and cognitive impacts on learning. Furthermore, the results suggest that although AI has benefits in improving educational processes, lack of proper supervision over this technology may lead to undesirable ethical consequences. Ultimately, the study proposes solutions for managing these ethical challenges, including clear regulatory frameworks, development of fair algorithms, and enhancement of digital literacy in schools.
