Intelligent food packaging with modern food technology and artificial intelligence field

چکیده :
This study reviews the results of research and subsequent developments in food packaging, which focuses on the development of smart food packaging in food supply. Advanced technology in smart food packaging can be introduced to sensors,barcode , data carriers and artificial intelligence. This innovative packaging helps to monitor the quality and safety of food. The overall goal of these innovations is to create an unbroken chain of food safety, freshness and traceability from production to consumption. This study examines the components and technologies of smart food packaging with respect to key indicators such as time-temperature indicators, gas indicators, novel indicators and disease indicators to ensure the desired product quality. The use of biosensors, electric nose and data carriers including barcodes and radio frequencies and their integration with artificial intelligence-based systems such as machine vision and machine learning will increase the complexity and improve the performance of the food product distribution and storage system. This article looks at new advances in artificial intelligence that are enabling smart packaging, making it better at preserving and improving food quality. This review examines how modern food technologies, particularly the integration of artificial intelligence, are transforming smart packaging for safety, quality, waste reduction, and enhanced traceability.
