چکیده :
Background: The integration of digital technologies into midwifery promises enhanced care quality and accessibility. However, a fragmented evidence base and lack of a clear implementation roadmap hinder progress. This review synthesizes evidence on digital health tools in midwifery and proposes a structured framework for adoption [1, 2]. Method: A systematic review was conducted per PRISMA 2020 guidelines. We searched PubMed, Scopus, CINAHL, and IEEE Xplore (Jan 2019–Mar 2024) for studies on digital interventions in pre-conception to postpartum care. Screening and data extraction were performed independently by two reviewers. Thematic synthesis was used to analyze qualitative and quantitative findings [3]. Finding: Of 2,158 identified records, 74 studies were included. We derived a four-level Digital Midwifery Care Framework: 1) *Mother-Enabled* (apps for tracking/education), 2) *Remotely Monitored* (telemedicine/wearables), 3) *Clinician-Supported* (CDSS), and 4) *AI-Augmented* (predictive analytics). Levels 1-2 show strong evidence for engagement and satisfaction but variable clinical impact. Levels 3-4 demonstrate high predictive accuracy yet face "black-box" challenges and workflow integration barriers [4, 5]. Conclusion: Digital transformation in midwifery follows an evolutionary path from user-facing tools to embedded intelligence. Success requires parallel advances in implementation science, ethical AI, interoperable infrastructure, and midwife-led co-design. This roadmap prioritizes actionable steps for researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to harness technology for holistic, hope-driven care.
